FREE Press releases are another great way to get your news published to the world, some may even improve you page ranking in Google.
Free press release sites help to bring authors, publishers and social media together. Here I am trying to compile a list of all the best free release sites that can be found on the web that actually work. When I use the term work I mean the press or article you submit will be visible to others not only though the original web site, but also visible in search engines like Google or Yahoo.
Before you jump straight in and start submitting your press there is a few rules you should follow. Do take your time, it’s vital that you submit to the sites properly, and makes sure your release is properly written and submitted to the right category. Some sites have a minimum or maximum word count, so it is always best practice to read terms and conditions. Also keep an eye on your e-mails, as some sites require you to activate your account or verify your submission with a link sent to your email address.
Most sites normally require a specific format, this will differ for each site. Some sites also require you to add profile information, which can be time consuming. But in the long run worthwhile if you want to see your press published. Most importantly make sure you have something newsworthy to say. Although this list of sites is free many will reject your press if it isn’t newsworthy or looks like spam or an advertisement.
There is also a good chance that your press releases will get picked up by other related web sites or news feeds. This can make you a large number of new back links and improve your page ranking.
